Shows the Craft ROBO Pro aka CE5000-40 cutting plotter contour cut (die cut) a pre-printed image on Strathmore 10pt glossy stock (Satin Board). This demo is using the included Cutting Master 2 plug-in to Adobe Illustrator CS3 on a Macintosh. The CE5000-40 CRPro is used by many custom apparel shops for producing exactly what you are looking to. It’s identical to the 60 in function, down force and accuracy. The 60 comes with a stand and larger — those are the only differences.
Yes. All of the CE5000 cutters are professional grade cutting plotters and are first and foremost designed to produce excellent curves and lettering on vinyl and heat transfer media.
I have a very big question!
I was interested in the Roland gx-24, but someone mentioned the CE5000-60. I was about to order one, but discovered they had a smaller model called the CE5000-40 (“40″) the 60 is 24 inches and the 40 is 15 inches…
I’m strictly doing t-shirt heat transfers, so would the 40 be alright for me? Is there a specific reason why I would need the bigger model?
One more question… Do you know if this would cut around letters and curves very well?
